Belarus investing in innovative technologies

The Borisov Works of Automobile and Tractor Electric Equipment (BATE) , will upgrade the production using innovative technologies, set up an assembly complex and turn out new products to boost the exports in 2011-2015. The company will start manufacturing insulation boards from extruded foam polystyrene to increase energy efficiency in construction. A new Holding company, Avtokomponenty, has been created.
Holding will regroup 14 firms.

Well known for its industry, BATE is also known for its Football Club (the only Belarusian team to have qualified for the group stage of the UEFA Champions League and for the group stage of the UEFA Europa League).

L’entreprise biélorusse BATE (Borisov Works of Automobile and Tractor Electric Equipment) décide de moderniser sa production à l’aide de technologies innovantes. La création d’un complexe d’assemblage et la sortie de nouveaux produits vont permettre d’accroître les exportations pour 2011-2015. L’entreprise va commencer à fabriquer des panneaux isolants en mousse de polystyrène extrudé, pour accroître l’efficacité énergétique dans la construction. L’entreprise BATE est également célèbre pour son club de Football,
FC Bate, seule équipe biélorusse à avoir accédé à
la Ligue des Champions de l’UEFA et à l’Europa League.
